Hi, I'm Emily. This thing is far too advanced for me so this will be mostly blogs and pictures. But I thought it was a fun idea to have our very own website. Adam and I live in Vancouver Washington, though I'm born and raised in Chicago and if people ask me where I'm from I'll still say "Chicago, but live in Washington" :) I am a child welfare caseworker for the State of Oregon. It's a crazy job with stories that if I were allowed to tell, most of you wouldn't believe me. I feel absolutely honored and privileged to work with children and families and love it! Adam and I were Foster parents to two amazing kids for over a year. It was an amazing experience that has definitely changed my life and my kids will always be very special and close to my heart. If you're ever interested in being a foster parent, I'd love to talk to you about it! Although we don't have children, we do have a pug named Alistair who is as high maintenance as any child. He is my baby and is very very spoiled. Well that's all for now...I'm going to attempt to try and post some pictures.
